Calathea Zebrina

The Calathea Zebrina gets its name from the distinctive zebra-like, stripes on its large, arrow-shaped, velvety leaves. These plants have been cultivated for centuries, prized for their ornamental value and their ability to thrive in indoor environments. Care Tips:

• Light: While the Calathea zebrina prefers bright, indirect light, it can tolerate low-light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.
• Water: Water once a week in winter and twice a week in summer. Keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Use lukewarm water to avoid shocking the roots.
• Humidity: This plant thrives in high humidity. Mist the leaves regularly.
• Temperature: Maintain a warm temperature between 18-30°C. Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
