Care Tips

• Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. However, they are unusually tolerant of lower light spaces for a ficus.
• Watering: Allow the top inch of soil to dry out before watering. Overwatering can lead to root rot. Water once a week with approximately 500ml water in the winter and twice a week in the summer.
• Temperature: A warm, humid environment is preferred. Avoid sudden temperature changes.
• Fertilizing: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer (optional) during the growing season (spring and summer).

Things to Watch Out For

• Yellowing Leaves: This could indicate overwatering or underwatering. Adjust your watering schedule accordingly.
• Brown Leaf Tips: Low humidity can cause brown tips. Mist the plant regularly or use a humidifier.
• Pests: Keep an eye out for common houseplant pests like mealybugs and spider mites. Treat them promptly with insecticidal soap or neem oil.
